Rachel was born in Clinton Township, Michigan, and raised in Virginia Beach, giving her strong ties to the Tidewater community and a genuine passion for helping others move and function better. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from South University, graduating magna cum laude. During her academic training, she received a Clinical Excellence Award and was inducted into the Phi Tau Alpha Honor Society. She completed more than 660 hours of clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics and at St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children, an experience she found especially impactful. Rachel began her career with The Therapy Network as a Physical Therapy Technician at the Newtown location, where she gained valuable hands-on experience supporting patient care and working closely with therapists. Combined with her background as a dancer for 13 years and her personal experiences as a patient, this foundation shaped her treatment perspective and reinforced her path to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Rachel values a thoughtful, movement-based approach to care and enjoys helping patients restore function and confidence. Clinically, she is interested in furthering her knowledge of Postural Restoration Institute principles and exploring neurological rehabilitation. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, photography, and cheering on the Admirals and Capitals at hockey games.
