Lauren, a Virginia Beach native, has been a dedicated member of The Therapy Network since 2006, beginning her career as a physical therapy technician. Her passion for physical therapy inspired her to advance her education, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Tidewater Community College, a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from ODU. Lauren specializes in gait pathologies and lower extremity biomechanics, with a strong focus on improving functional movement. She integrates techniques from the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) into her practice and is certified in dry needling (since 2015) and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (since 2017). Her evidence-based and patient-centered approach allows her to tailor treatment plans to meet each individual’s needs. Deeply committed to professional growth, Lauren has a passion for continued learning and actively works to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy. She values sharing knowledge and expanding her skill set to provide the highest quality care.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys caring for her pets, participating in local races, camping, dirt biking, and motorcycle racing.
