Jacob is a Virginia Beach native and a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Tidewater Community College. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University in 2021. Jacob discovered his passion for physical therapy after recovering from a soccer injury that required surgery and rehab. The experience inspired him to pursue a career helping others regain their mobility and confidence. He enjoys working with the geriatric population and has a growing interest in treating back and neck pain. To expand his skill set, Jacob plans to pursue certifications in the McKenzie Method and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), aiming to provide effective, evidence-based care for common orthopedic conditions. Outside the clinic, Jacob enjoys traveling with his wife, Starr, playing soccer, hiking, and exploring new cuisines. He has hiked national parks like Zion, the Grand Canyon, and Rocky Mountains, and hopes to visit Italy, Greece, and Japan.
